Early Life of Alexandra Andresen
In 1996, Alexandra was born to the Norwegian industrialist Johan H. Andresen Jr, owner of Ferd AS(a Norwegian holding company). In 2007, he transferred ownership shares of 42.2% each to Alexandra and her sister Katharina.
The family made their money from their tobacco brand. Her father sold the family’s shares in this tobacco business to Skandinavisk Tobakskompagni for nearly $500 million in 2005. Presently, Ferd mainly deals with hedge funds. Also, it is an active investor on the Nordic stock exchange and has private-equity investments.
